The Fall Class of 2011 is currently forming. Deadline for applications is September 1st. The Spring 2012 Academy will begin forming this winter. Spring Academy participants will attend class sessions Thursday evenings each week starting September 8th. Also part of the Academy is an optional eight-hour Saturday session covering emergency driving and use of force (shoot/don't shoot), which will give the participants a "hands-on" experience in these areas. Academy participants will graduate with a certificate of attendance in December.
